We would like to introduce to all nature lovers our ornamental tree. Its scientific name is `Conocarpus Lancifolius.` we call it `Laurel.`
The C. Lancifolius is commonly used as firewood, charcoal because of the density of its wood, and as poles and timber for housing. It is also important in stabilizing riverbanks and adding nutrition to poor soil. As an ornamental shade, the tree serves as a windbreak to protect irrigated farms. It is popular for its capacity to thrive in hot and dry settings, but can also tolerate flooding, saline conditions, sand, clay, and very shallow soils over rock. The tree`s relative tolerance to droughts makes it a plant of choice for reforestation projects.
The thick foliage of the Laurel can be pruned and carved into any shape, making it an ideal ornamental tree to grace any area including:
