Stoyan Bachvarov Drama Theatre – The design of the building corresponds to the traditions of the European urban style from the end of the ХІХ century. The theatre imposes its striking presence in the cultural life not only of the city, but also throughout the country.
Summer Theater – It is situated in the central part of the Sea Garden. A lot of national and international events take place in the Summer Theater.
In Varna Muppet Theater you can see The Muppet Museum - the only one of that kind on the Balkans and one of the few in Europe.
Varna Archaeological Museum occupies an area of 2000 sq.m. and possesses 32 halls, exhibiting permanent expositions: Prehistory, Antiquity, The Middle Ages, Renaissance Iconography. The oldest gold treasure in the world is here. Its age is dated back 4000 years ago.
The Naval Museum is one of the symbols of the city of Varna. It is situated in the far south part of the sea garden. The beautiful museum building was constructed in 1890 for the Italian Consular Asareto. A collection of naval cannons, the old lighthouse of the port of Varna and one of the first Bulgarian mine-sweepers are displayed in the park.
Roman Therms
The Roman Therms (Baths), situated in the south-east part of the contemporary city of Varna, are the largest public ancient building, which has been found in Bulgaria so far.
Proto-Bulgarian Village FANAGORIA
The historical and ethnographical complex Proto-Bulgarian Village Fanagoria is the only of its kind open-air museum in the country. The complex is a copy of a Proto-Bulgarian war-camp dated from 6-8 century and includes defensive walls with battle towers, furnished yurtas, craftsmen s workshops, restored ancient clothes, arms, household articles and furniture. There is a square with a shrine, khan s and shaman s yurtas, shooting-ground and a stand for the audience.
