A peasant house charactered family house in the center of Nagykovácsi is for sale by the owner. It was newly built 3 years ago and it`s located in a tranquill street. It`s only one minute walk to the bus station, the post office and a food shop. The house is only a few minutes drive from the American School of Budapest.
The building is energy-saving, cheaply maintainable and it has an A+ energetical rating. during the constructions we used the tipical technologies of low-energy houses.
In the house there are increasedly insulated triple-paned doors and windows (4lowE-16Ag-4-16Ag-4lowE). There are increased heat-insulation on the slab (30-35 cm), on the walls (15-20 cm) and on the floor (10 cm) as well. The house has a ventillation system and there are earth warming tubes ( 20 m) which pre-heat or pre-cool the intake fresh air for it (LEWT).
We sought to use natural materials for buliding the house to create a healthy home. There are oak parquet floors in the house except the bathroom and the hall. All the built-in furnitures are made of real wood. We only used organic oils on the wood surfaces (Biopin).
The house can be heated by a wood-burning fireplace and it makes the hot water in the heating period.
In the forecourt there is a driveway and a shed (12 m2). The garden is sunny all year, beacuse it`s south facing like the house itself.
