At the rate climate change is progressing, this will be the new Costa del Sol in 20 years, but without the extreme heat and with cool water for swiming. There are persons that enjoy swiming all year!! my heroes in some cases but strong health also. Curioosly they are all in their 60´s or more. good life = happy life
We`ve been a family of four living in this house since 2003. I`ve raised two musician children (trombone and piano), and we`ve been very happy. We`ve taken them to the beach with a pushchair, and we`ve grown up until we moved 7 years ago. Its location is close to all kinds of services and close to the beach.
You have the largest park in Santander (Parque de las Llamas), schools (Agustinos), and a health center just down the hill. There are also three sports centers in the area (Agustinos, Marismas, and Body Factory). Several Lupa and Mercadona supermarkets are very close.
THE CONDITION OF THE APARTMENT IS READY TO MOVE IN: This apartment has a complete renovation, so no renovation is necessary a priori, beyond customizations or personal tastes. Best to see in person.
The kitchen, with all the 60cm appliances, was carefully designed to be useful for an entire family and has a food disposal in the sink, which eliminates odors in the garbage, which is very practical.
The bathroom has a whirlpool tub.
A false plaster ceiling allows for recessed lighting and concealed heating pipes.
It has two bedrooms, one of which is fitted with a custom-made cabinet made by carpenters and two bunk beds at different heights suitable for adults also. There is also a wardrobe for clothes and a storage space under one of the beds. The master bedroom was enlarged to create a large 60cm-deep built-in wardrobe.
PVC joinery is used on the windows of the house, as well as designer doors made of steamed beech wood.
AC5 hardness raised access floor on resin-treated pine flooring to prevent creaking and level the floor.
The terrace was included within the living room (which was split level), making it the crown jewel, creating a large space that adds spaciousness to an apartment originally designed as unheated summer apartments.
The living room faces south and the bedrooms face west and north. Far from being a handicap, this allows for cooling in the summer on hot days. Furthermore, in winter, the apartment is very easy to heat.
We have just installed a ventilated facade, which makes a difference in terms of energy efficiency and provides comfort in both summer and winter.
