Dendro Park Reserve is a true African Jewel, located deep in the Southern Zambian bush,
adjacent to the world renowned Kafue National Park just over 100kms north of Kalomo
town.

The area is on 10,000 acres of pristine Mopane woodlands forests and thickets, easy going
terrain with mainly flat undulating open plains. Developed over 20 years ago this area now
boasts over 300 head of Cape buffalo, which roam freely. Other species include Leopard,
Crawshay Defassa Waterbuck, Lichtenstein Hartebeest, Chobi Bushbuck, Puku, Sharps
Grysbuck, Common Reedbuck, Oribi, Blue Wildebeest, Greater Kudu, Southern Impala,
Common Duiker, Warthog and Bushpig.

The main camp is located on the banks of the Kabwe flood plain, a tributary of the Nanzhila
River. The camp consists of a dining area which is slightly raised above the ground level
due to flooding in the wet season. The dining area is an open plan design, under a thatched
roof with bar and relaxation area.

The fireplace is at the front edge close to the water overlooking the magnificent flood plain.
There is an outdoor swimming pool which provides guests with a chance to take a swim on
those hot African days

Guests are accommodated in separate, permanent African-style thatched chalets with en-
suite bathrooms. Each of the three chalets are decorated in Zambian style, with comfortable
bedding and solar lighting. The chalets have all the necessities to ensure a relaxing stay.
Cameras & other devices can be charged using the solar power system.

There are two ways to reach the camp. Charter from Livingstone is a one hour flight to the
Ngoma airstrip in the Kafue National Parkj from there it is a one hour trip to camp passing
through rural villages that clients enjoy to stop and see how the locals live.

The second option is a road trip from Livingstone to camp is six hours trip the roads( bush
roads) are very bad
but it is also an exciting trip.
