the heart of Slovenia surrounded by nature.

stay and total relaxation, magnificent view
and unique experience. Our guests explore
Slovenian beauties in organized guided tours
and indulge themselves with home prepared
food and local drinks.
It is positioned on a hill called Sela,
within the petit village Sela pri Ajdovcu in
the centre of Suha krajina. Happy Village is
only few minutes` drive away from small
medieval town �u�emberk, known for its rich
history and castle, which rises above
beautiful Krka River.
Daily activities and main building consist
of the following:
Ground floor: the main space of the house
is in the middle of building and it consists
of a large living/dining room, comfortable
seating corner, restaurant kitchen, toilet
facilities and two apartments. In front of
it, you`ll find a large terrace for relaxing
and enjoying the peacefulness of the Happy
Village.
First floor: separate entrance stairs lead
you to the reception at the first floor.
Left and right of the reception are halls
with rooms: 11 all together.
Floor -1 is a spacious multifunctional area
� used for events, covered market with
buffet, wine cellar and facilities for the
preparation of herbs and forest fruits.
There are also women and men toilets.
Old hayrack decorates the upper part of The
House`s yard and is designed for summer
events, socializing, performances and
various workshops.
The upper part of the courtyard is
surrounded by stage for the theatre and
musicians, spa cottage for relaxation (in
construction). Preserved old barn and
granary are under construction and will be
renovated shortly.
A large parking lot (up to 50 cars) is
located in the lower part of the courtyard
surrounded by the new barn and hayrack. Both
are at the moment under construction to
become the `open-air-hotel` in the near
future.
The plan is to renovate two buildings; to
construct 9 holiday bungalows and 8 wooden
chalets; and to complete new spa centre.
Project of Green-Energy-Holiday Houses and
chalets will base on self-sufficiency in
electricity generated from solar cells
placed on holiday houses. The objective of
Green-Energy-Holiday and Wooden Holiday
Chalet is to minimize energy consumption and
environmental pollution using the renewable
energy.
