Chavelita Island is located in Nuevo Mejico, Alanje in Panama very closed Barqueta beach.
The geographic position of Chavelita Island is 8o 19´47.24´´ N, 82 o 42´ 01.32´´ W. (Please View
attachments with descriptions). You can travel to island by boat from Estero Rico or from
Divala.
Chavelita Island has a total surface of approximately 20,6 hectares. We are selling 8 hectares
and 8,115 m2 with rights to use and protect 10,6 hectares.
We built a two floor house in the island with a toilet included. We have had people working in
the island for the last 25 years to protect our rights and take care of the property. The house
also has a bedroom for the caretaker.
The rest of the island is currently occupied by peasants.
The buyer of our part of the island will have no problem claim possessory rights for rest of the
island after being there for a while and will eventually get the legal rights for that part as well.
