Old stone house on three levels on the
seaside of Perast

This old stone house on three levels and 90
square meters of living space, is located in
the town of Perast in the Kotor Bay, in the
first line of houses by the sea.

Main entrance of the house opens up onto the
square dominated by three date palms and two
mature cypress trees with couple of well
manicured flower beds embracing the trees.

The view from the house is directly towards
the strait of Verige and the two islets
e and Our Lady of the Rocks.

Even though the backdrop of Perast is
dominated by high hills and cliffs, the
specific location of Perast, on the flat
land protrusion jutting toward the strait
Verige, gives Perast a unique trait to boast
about among other beautiful small towns in
the Boka Bay - namely, the latest sunset of
the day - thus, the longest sun hours within
the specific geography of the Boka Bay.

This property has an approved blue print
project for the construction of the jetty,
though the building permit needs to be
renewed as issuance of such permits is
subject to limited time frame for the
construction.
In front of the house is the space with the
exclusive right of use for this property.
Parking space for this property is located
in the continuation of the above mentioned
space.

The property was completely renovated in
June 2014.
Ownership 1/1.

Town of Perast is on the list of World
Heritage sites of the UNESCO.

The architecture of Perast is in baroque
style and the majority of the houses date
back to the late 16th century.
During that time Perast became an important
frontier town with significant naval fleet.

An interesting historical fact is that at
the end of the 17th century, the Russian
Tzar Peter the Great, sent 16 Russian
noblemen to learn the naval skills in Perast
in, then established naval school of Perast,
where Captain Marko Martinovic taught these
skills to the young Russian noblemen.
Thusly, the main street in Perast, that
meanders along by the sea, is named after
Captain Marko Martinovic.

During the naval school years attended by
the Russian noblemen, this property served
as one of the accessory objects, the living
quarters for the students, though the actual
lecture venue was in the house which
nowadays serves as the Museum of the town of
Perast.

Beside the house there is a project to build
a pontoon where you can park all types of
marine vessels. Building permits for the

have limited validity. Renovation was done
