Balninkai is a small town in Molėtai district, situated between Alaušai and Piršenas lakes. There is the left turn `Balninkai` after the 5th km while going from Molėtai in the direction of Anykščiai. After 18 km of blacktopped road you`ll see Balninkai. Then take the main street straight to Alaušai lake. If you come from Kaunas, after Ukmergė, go in the direction of Molėtai. The village of Želva is at the 21st kilometer. Then turn left. The town of Balininkai is 7 km away.

The summer resort is close to the bank of Alaušas Lake. The hall with a fireplace on the ground floor is perfect to spend a lovely evening with your friends. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor: three- seated and four- seated. Food may be prepared in the kitchen. All the necessary kitchenware is there. In case you need some foodstuff, the shop is only 100 m away, or you may buy homemade products from local people. There is a bathhouse, a shower- bath, and WC in the basement and an underground garage. There is always hot water.

Alaušų Lake occupies the territory of 260 hectares. It has a long, wide and sandy shallow. It is perfect both for children and adults. Such an excellent strand is quite hard to find. You may fish, boat, or wheel a pedal. Anyone willing may ride a horse- drawn carriage.

The house is heated and visitors are welcome all- year- round.
