with supermarkets, pharmacies, public services, entertainment, bakeries, pastry shops, etc., as well as
many activities with the ancient theater and the ancient city of Philippi to be at the top of the choices of
Greek and foreign visitors for watching ancient dramas, comedies and other theatrical performances.

The settlement of Vrysoules is also very close to summer resorts such as the sunny beaches of Kavala,
Palio, Nea Iraklitsa and Peramos.

The island of Thassos can also be visited via regular itinerary ferry boats form the main port of Kavala
city.
Other relatively nearby destinations (about an hour`s drive) are Mount Pangeo for mountain lovers as well
as the Falakro Ski Center in the prefecture of Drama.
