About 100 years ago our grandfather bought this 250 hectare land (2.500.000sq.m) as one of the best cattle estates.
Later, when livestock farming in Greece in its traditional form stopped yielding the expected results, our parents (6 brothers) turned this land into agricultural land to raise their families. Over the years and with the geomorphology of the area as a catalytic factor, it turned out that the shift from animal husbandry to agriculture, instead of the modernization of the already existing animal husbandry activity, was a mistake.
Τhe altitude of the area extends from 370μ to 600m. Within the estate there are 5 active agricultural boreholes, 4 of them connected to the electricity network. Also, within the estate, 60MW photovoltaic systems have been allocated for installation and have received a production license from the Greek Energy Regulatory Authority. 1MW is already in operation This act can clearly be continued, enriched or canceled by the interested investor.
We, who are now first cousins, decided to allocate this single piece of land considering that the combination of the ability of installing a large modern animal husbandry unit, with the ability of pumping water, the ability of installing photovoltaic systems, and even the ability of installing a hydrogen unit through hydrolysis, gives this land a unique comparative advantage, at a time when circumstances bring new investment opportunities to the fore.
The main key factor is the one who has the will and financial power to invest.
