The coastline of the house is a protected area and part of NATURA as well. The sea here also has a
special type of seaweed called `Poseidonia` and is very well known since ancient times. This type of
seaweed is called `The pine of the sea` because it produces a lot of oxygen, which is why the marine life
is very rich here and the fish very tasty. The owner of the house used to go to the garden or walk next to
the beach to collect bait and fish directly from the beach or from the piers for anchoring. There is also a
natural healing mud that can be used for medical purposes. The sand on the beach has been transported
here by the owner.

There is a natural spring on the mountain that passes directly under the land where the house is located.
It goes further into the sea (underground), There is a drilling and with a special machine it pulls the water

The building permit for the current house was issued in 1982 and all the work has been completed within
2 years. The owner of the house was an engineer and made sure that the best materials were used (at that
time), as well as the best possible roof (all made in the traditional way and waterproof). The walls are
made in such a way that they are waterproof. Additional details: to protect the house from water, a 3-
meter wide ditch was dug around the house. This ditch is filled with pebbles from the beach that help
drain the water on rainy days. All the wood used inside the house is of special quality (this type was used
for boats).

This house has withstood several strong earthquakes without any problems and no cracks occurred in
the walls or anywhere else.

There are 2 floors in this house (each 98.98 sq m): the ground floor and the first. On the first floor there is
a large living and dining room with an open kitchen. This occupies more than 60% of the total space,
because here is the best spot to enjoy fantastic views of the sea, the forest and the mountains. The
natural breeze helps to maintain a pleasant temperature in this room without the use of air conditioning.

showers, as well as external verandas with sea views. These rooms are air-conditioned. Another space
(former storage) has been converted into the 3rd room with a bathroom with shower. The size of this
room is approximately 3 3 sq m.

The ground floor is heated only with air conditioners.

There is a barbecue area with sea views and a traditional stone oven corner in the garden. Everything was
built by the owner himself. All the areas around the house are covered with local stone. Rare and quality
