The charming Casa Iguana Hotel is located on a cobblestone street in the picturesque village of Mismaloya. This hotelīs wonderful settign is close to the Mismaloya Zoo and just a quick walk to the Playa Mismaloya (the local beach). Mismaloya has been the setting for several notable movies inlcluding Predator and Night of the Iguana. A quick taxi ride or a 15 minute bus ride will find you in the middle of Puerto Vallarta. Each room offers two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a living/Dining Room.
A recent review by Fodorīs... Palms and plants edge walkways that line the swimming pool and goldfish ponds. Balconies look down onto the garden scene and on the palapa bar/restaurant. The two bedroom suites have full kitchens, shower only baths, chunky furnitue with cast iron hardware, and tiles with folkloric patterns. Electric orange and yellow plaids brighten spaces that can be dark at certain times during the day.
