The hotel casa del mar samara has 17 rooms, 11 with private baths and A/C and 6 rooms with a ceiling fan, that share 2 ½ baths.
There is an owner’s apartment on-site with a bedroom, living area (or second bedroom), one bathroom and a kitchen and a storeroom. The living area or second bedroom is a lock-off from the apartment so the apartment can be rented if you choose to live off-site.
The construction is a combination of concrete and hardwood. I believe most of the construction is about twenty years old. The hotel has a small kitchen and restaurant where we serve breakfast to the guests but not lunch or dinner.
All air conditioning has been changed over the last 2 years.
The jacuzzi was completely redone in June of last year.
The Jacuzzi pump was changed in April of this year.
The roof of the rooms with a private bathroom was changed in October 2017.

Hotel occupancy has averaged 54% annually. The low season months are Sept, Oct, and Nov and we use that time for painting and repairs. In the past, we have not closed our doors in the low season, although some businesses do in Samara.
