The Bansko resort has a long ski season which runs from December to Mid April and after a multi million euro investment now has one of the most advanced ski centres in Europe. A state of the art lift system provides access to 70km of piste as well as unlimited offpiste runs. 80% of the slopes are covered with snow cannons and the last 7km are floodlit for nighttime skiing. Bansko also boasts Bulgarias first snow park complete with ramps and half pipe which secures its reputation as the countrys finest ski resort.
