Bansko

The town

of Bansko is situated at the northeastern foot of Northern Pirin Mountain. It is 161 km from Sofia and 170 km from Plovdiv.

The conditions are generally suitable for skiing from late November to early May and it has ski tracks with total length of

32 km. With a state of the art gondola and excellent ski/snowboard schools and hire services, it is of no surprise that in

recent years Bansko has won the title of most improved ski resort on more than one occasion. The beautiful nature, the

interesting crafts and historical monuments as well as the hospitality of the local population make this town such an

attractive tourist destination . Bansko is the most popular skiing destination in Bulgaria but the ski run are by no means

the only attraction. With a near by 18 hole golf course and further courses underway, internationally renound spa centre,

mountain biking, lots of off ski runs entertainment and an international jazz festival every summer Bansko has something for

everyone.

Location
Bansko was proclaimed the place of world natural heritage by UNESCO. Besides the beautiful Pirin

Mountain and the numerous landmarks the town is abounding in its historical sights - there are about 120 monuments alone

here. Bansko is located in the southwest part of Bulgaria - 160 km away from Sofia. The geographical location of the town

furthers the retention of the snow coverage from December to May and the alpine character of Pirin Mountain offers perfect

opportunities for both professional and amateur ski sports practice
Project descripton

Apartment hotel Sunset G1 is

a luxury development in the beautiful mountain resort of Bansko. It has six floors whit 30 luxury studios and apartments, all

of them featuring cozy living room and open plan kitchenette. The apartments all have well fitted en – suite bathrooms, plugs

for cable TV, telephone and internet. Most of the apartments have beautiful mountain views of either Pirin Mountain or Rila

Mountain. There are a Bulgarian tavern `Banski han` and swimming pool near to the complex. Apartment hotel Sunset G1 offers

sauna, ski wardrobe, reception for the sake of convenience of owners of apartments. The building is situated next to the

river Glazne, 2 minutes by car to the historical centre of the Bansko and 8 minutes to the Gondola ski lift.
