The town of Bansko is situated at the northeastern foot of Northern

Pirin Mountain. It is 161 km from Sofia and 170 km from Plovdiv. The conditions are generally suitable for skiing from late

November to early May and it has ski tracks with total length of 32 km. With a state of the art gondola and excellent

ski/snowboard schools and hire services, it is of no surprise that in recent years Bansko has won the title of most improved
