The house is of time-honoured construction, thick stone walls and wooden frame with a tiled roof. It`s still occupied by the elderly owner who now wants to move to be nearer family. There is water and electricity inside the house, but also a huge amount of junk which needs clearing........ The condition is not bad, with some double-glazing and wooden floors, but the roof needs some patching and the exterior rendering is poor.
But, there are 3 good rooms upstairs with a small balcony and very pleasant rural views from all the windows. Downstairs are also 3 rooms, plus all the exposed stone-work – in fact it`s in a remarkable, unmolested condition as the cow and her calf are still housed there and it doesn`t get much more traditional than that! This is how things have always been done here, but you might have other ideas about how to use the space…….
