Bansko is the fastest developing skiing resort in South
Eastern Europe. It is located in the Pirin Mountains, around two hours drive from Sofia airport. This resort has had the best
snow cover of all Bulgarian ski resorts in recent years. Initially a small mountain town, the area has developed in recent
years, with the introduction of proper infrastructure, some very high class hotels, local mehana restaurants, shops and ski
