Jurucutuoca is a private island in the municipality of Humberto de Campos, State of Maranhão, Brazil, located a few kilometers of the gateway of Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, the fourth most popular tourisy destination in the country. The property is made up of 3,500 hectare (35 square km), next to a fishing village called Carrapatal, right on the west coast of the state. Jurucutuoca makes itself suitable for setting a successful ecotourism resort.
