Labuan Island known as `The Pearl of Borneo` is a tax-free Island off the cost of Sabah with the latter known as `The Land Below the Wind` and has a tropical climate with two annual monsoon seasons - the South West monsoon from April to June and the North East monsoon from September to December. Rain fall during these periods are normally overnight. It is not on the Fault Line, so free from tsunami and is free from hurricanes / typhoons, so no adverse weather conditions and enjoys a good climate all year round. Daily temperatures average between 28 to 32 degrees Celsius. .

Named as The Pearl it has beautiful beaches that won the United Nation COBSEA Clean Beach Award 2008.
Labuan is a tax-free Island that offers sophisticated offshore banking services and numbered account facilities. It has all sports facilities including 2-Golf courses with an18-hole sea view course only 5-min from the property. Just 200M from the property`s shoreline lies a beautiful living coral reef.

As part of Sabah the highest mountain peak in South East Asia is close by in Kota Kinabalu and also it’s national park that includes the protected Orangutans. The South China Sea that surrounds the Island of Labuan is abundant with a magnificent array of seafood that is second to none in the world. Also a center for deep-sea sports fishing that includes tuna and marlin. Sea diving is paramount around the small offshore coral Islands and it includes wreck diving in deeper waters.

Central in South East Asia Labuan is only 30mins from Kota Kinabalu International Airport and owing to its central location less than a three hour flight from most of the ASEAN capitals. There are direct flights to Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Kaoshiung, Singapore, Manila, Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur that serves the world. Thailand and the Philippines are all close by and Brunei is only a short ferry away with an international airport that serves Singapore, Australia, Dubai, Paris and London.

Security and privacy are paramount on the Island of Labuan. With zero serious crime and within the multi national community of foreigners living here, unheard of theft. Unbelievably unique in today`s world, but true and Malaysia remains in the top 10 countries in the world in which to setup a business or retire and if it were based solely on crime Labuan would be the best.

P.S. A bridge to join the island of Labuan to mainland Sabah is imminent and will totally enhance the island. This will place property in the same league as Sabah where property is 40/50% higher in value where property is only on 99yr leasehold. Whereas it is on a 999yr lease classed on the lines of freehold. So it is a very good investment.
Book a viewing as photos cannot portray how remarkable the property really is.

Sorry to say that I am unable to zoom view but as said the photos should be able to portray everything about the property, which is by far a magnificent dwelling.
