Location description:

Limbach is a small town of approximately. 645 pop. in central Germany, in the province of Rheinland-Pfalz. The agricultural structured residential area is part of the regional community administration Hachenburg. Limbach is a Government recognized heath-, and recreational region. Within 10 km distance there are several historic sites, as there are the town of Hachenburg with its historic market place and its castle. Build in 1238 the Abbey Marienstatt, which church has just been renovated. Of great interest always are sights seeing tour into the old copper and mineral mines in the surroundings areas.
Limbach is located approx. 265 m over see level in the midst of rolling and forestry hills called Westerwald, between the cities of Limburg and Siegen, six kilometres from Hachenburg, in the valley of the creek `kleinen Nister` Regional-Environmental-Protected- Parks `Kroppacher Schweiz`, on one of the national hiking routes `Westerwaldsteig`.

South of Limbach are the main roads connecting travellers via the `Bundestrasse 414` into all directions on the major highways : Highway Connector is Siegen, Wilnsdorf and Herborn to A 45 (Dortmund-Gießen). The next Highway Connector to the A 3 (Cologne-Frankfurt) are in Montabaur, Mogendorf, Dierdorf and Hennef. The next ICE-Train station is at the city of Montabaur, on the route Cologne-Rhein/Main, taking visitors from Frankfurt-Airport, Airport Cologne/Bonn, and the surrounding major cities to Limbach.
