Location:

Despite its tranquil location at the top of a hill between Yalikavak and Gumusluk, the apartment is perfectly positioned to access the town centre of Bodrum (20Km) which boasts great nightlife, restaurants, shops, marinas and cafes.

Gumusluk:

Closest to the apartment lies the beautiful sleepy fishing village of Gumusluk, a charming and beautiful place, a natural harbour and home to some fine restaurants and cafes with a romantic and endearing charm. You can wade out from the beach to Rabbit Island from whose top you can get a tremendous view of the village and surrounding area, and feed the wild rabbits that live there. Gumusluk has fresh fish for sale and small market stalls selling trinkets and charms, its one of the oldest places on the peninsula and there are ancient underwater ruins which attract snorkellers from around the world every year. It has some excellent restaurants with all the fresh fish on display and a great selection of flavours to try in many family owned restaurants lined along the seafront. A great place to visit and hang out, relax out of the sun or on the beach which has sun loungers for hire and beachfront service for drinks and snacks.

Yal�kavak:

Less than 5km from the apartment lies Yalikavak, a town which has undergone much investment and improvements in recent years and now has a beautiful new marina with high class cafes, shops and restaurants. Boat Trips run regularly from old Yalikavak harbour and are thoroughly recommended for a lazy day travelling along the coastline and swimming in bays or lazing in the sun and drinking a beer whilst the water passes by. Shopping in Yalikavak is a great experience as it has lovely old shopping streets selling all types of goods including fashion items, fresh honey and olive oil, fruit, vegetables and lovely cakes and pastries. A great selection of restaurants, cafes and bars are all found in central Yalikavak which offer something for all ages, and the quieter part of town the other side of the new marina features some very romantic waterside restaurants which have great seafood on offer every night.

Bodrum:

The Apartments is just 20 minutes drive from Bodrum and this is somewhere you really must visit during your stay in Gumusluk. Bodrum lies on a peninsula formed by the juncture of two harbors lined by brilliantly white houses and ancient tombs. Known as Halicarnassos in former times, its threadlike lanes weave their way down to the blue sea. Bodrum offers all the amenities and facilities that visitors have come to expect.
