In late winter/early spring ice fishing is a well liked activity, but most popular is snowmobiling, and there are well signposted snowmobile trails through local forestry areas which give free and ready access to the countryside. In winter the sea freezes and you can walk directly on the ice. In summer you can go swimming on the beach of Killingsand, only 2 kilometres from the property, or in lakes nearby. In late summer and autumn berries and mushroom are waiting to be picked. In Sweden we have the Right of Public Access, which allows everybody to freely roam the Swedish countryside, to pick berries, camp, hike, ski and so on.
