Forty minutes from Florence(Italy) I have the property of a medieval village is made of 25/30 dwellings, many of which are overgrown by thick vegetation. The village would be an ideal project for :
Hotel village, Club hotel, Spa hotel or Cultural centre for schools or conventions, place of retreat for religious communities or similar, International home for the elderly or Holiday cottages. Alternatively, independent lots could be created and sold individually.
The existing pavement is about 5000 sq. (25/30 houses, barns, etc., built around a small church) and the property of the surrounding ground is about 90,000 square meters .
It was an independent village also because it is rich in springs. Originally was a medieval castle around which, for centuries, were built houses and the various structures that compose it.
It has a dominant position over the valley of Casentino . The houses are built entirely of stone and they have 2 or 3 floors.
As you can see from the attachments (description and history) its location is in the part of Tuscany where nature is better protected because its borders with the `Park of Casentino Forests`
It `a very special object for its history, for its location totally immersed in the silence of nature and especially for potential increase in restructuring.
In fact the Municipality is willing to accept increases in new modern dwellings provided functional and respectful to the surrounding nature. For example, the village will be environmentally sustainable, energy independent, a pilot demonstration of energy efficient buildings will not impact on the environment and economy of a virtuous beneficial to humans and the land, a reproducible model in Italy and Europe..
